RAVA VEG IDLI It is an instant vegetable idli served in breakfast or as a snack. Ingredients: Oil – 3 Tsp Mustard seeds – 1 Tsp Chana dal – 1 Tsp Urad dal – 1 Tsp Hing – a pinch Curry leaves – few Finely chopped green chili – 2 Cashew – 6 Shredded carrot – ½ cup Peas – 2 Tbsp Salt as per taste. Rava – 1 cup Curd – ¾ cup Water – ½ cup Coriander – 1 Tbsp Eno salt – ½ Tsp Oil for greasing. Method: 1. Heat oil in a pan, add chana dal, urad dal, hing and curry leaves. 2. Add chili, cashew and sauté till golden brown. 3. Now add carrot, peas and sauté for few minutes. 4. Add salt. Now add rawa and roast on low flame. 5. Cool the mixture and add curd and water to make a smooth batter. 6. Let it rest for 15 minutes. 7. Grease the idli plates. 8. Just before steaming, add eno salt, mix well and pour in to the idli plates and steam for 15 minutes. 9. Finally serve the instant vegetable idli.
