MIRCHI PAKODA RECIPE Mirchi pakoda is is a popular rajasthani street food made with chilli stuffed with potato and covered with besan batter. It can be an ideal evening snack food with tea coffee. Ingredients: For potato stuffing: Potatoes(boiled and mashed) - 1 cup Chilli powder - 1 tsp Ginger (grated) - ½ tsp Chat masala - ½ Tsp Amchur powder - ½ tsp Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp Salt as per taste. For Besan Batter: Besan - 1 cup Red chili powder - ½ tsp Hing - ¼ Tsp Baking soda-1/4 tsp Salt as per taste. Water as required. Other: Green Chili (slited and deseeded) – 8 to 10 no Oil for frying. Tomato sauce for serving. Method: 1. In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients of potato stuffing and combine well. 2. Now stuff the potato masala into the chilies. 3. Prepare the batter by mixing besan n other ingredients in a separate bowl. 4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan. 5. Now dip the stuffed chilies into the besan batter and deep fry in the oil. 6. Fry till they become golden in colour on medium flame. 7. Drain excess oil on tissue paper. 8. Serve hot with tomato sauce.

Ingredients:
For potato stuffing:
Potatoes(boiled and mashed) - 1 cup
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Ginger (grated) - ½ tsp
Chat masala - ½ Tsp
Amchur powder - ½ tsp

Salt as per taste.
