Fada Lapsi Lapsi is a sweet dish of roasted and cooked broken wheat sweetened with sugar or jaggery .It is rich in iron, fibre n magnesium. Ingredients: Broken wheat – ½ cup Sugar – ½ cup Cardamom powder – ½ Tsp Ghee – 2 Tbsp Water – 2 cup Few almonds for garnishing. Method: 1. heat ghee in a pan, add broken wheat and sauté till it becomes golden brown. 2. Now add 2 cups of warm water, mix well and cook on medium flame till soft. 3. It takes around 15 minutes, stir in between. 4. Add sugar and cardamom powder and mix well. 5. Cook till sugar water is absorbed and ghee is released from the sides of pan. 6. Your lapsi is ready. Serve in a bowl and garnish with almonds.
