Dudhi Chana Daal: Dudhi (Bottle Guard) and Chana Daal both are considered healthy ingredients.They are rich in Protein and folic acid. Good to have it in summer. Ingredients : Dudhi – 2 cup ,peeled n diced Soaked Chana Dal – ½ cup Ginger-1 tsp, minced Sambhar masala-1 tsp Oil – 2 tbsp Salt – to taste Cumin seeds – 1 tsp Hing – pinch of Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp Red chili powder – 1 tsp Chopped Tomatoes – ½ cup Dhanajira powder – 1 tbsp Chopped coriander – for garnishing Method : 1. Presser cook dudhi and chana dal by adding 1 cup water in a cooker for 2 whistle. 2. Heat oil in a pan on a medium flame and add cumin seed, hing, ginger,tomatoes, red chili powder, turmeric powder, dhanajira powder, sambhar masala,salt n water, cook for 3 min. 3. When tomatoes are soften add dhuhi and chana dal mixture and mix well ,cook for 3 minutes. 4. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve Dhudhi chana dal with rice or roti.
