Beet Tikki Burger Recipe Beet is considered as healthy ingredient n good substitute of potato for burger. Ingredients : Bun / Multigrain bun Cabbage or lettuce leaves Sliced Cucumber Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp Butter – 1 tbsp Ingredients for Tikki : Grated Beetroot – 1 cup Oil – 2 tbsp All purpose flour – 1 tbsp Corn Flour – 2 tbsp Maida slurry- 1/2 cup Garam Masala – ½ tsp Chopped Onion – half Curry leaves – 8-10 Red chili powder – 1 tsp Chat masala-1/2 tsp Chopped coriander leaves – 2 tbsp Ginger paste– 1 tsp Salt – to taste Lemon Juice – ½ tsp Bread crumbs – 4 tbsp Method : 1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, chopped onion, curry leaves, ginger paste, chopped coriander leaves, red chili powder, grated beetroot and saute for 2-3 minutes. Turn of the heat.Let it cool. 2. Add bread crumbs, corn flour, all seasoning and mix well. 3. cover it and keep it in refrigerator for 25 min. 4. After 25 min, prepare tikki and dip it in Maida slurry n roll in breadcrumbs from both side and shallow fry it. 5. Cut the bun into two halves, grease it with butter and toast them lightly. 6. Put cabbage or lettuce leaves, cucumber slice, beet root tikki, mayonnaise to assemble burger. 7. close it with the other half of the bun n serve.

Beet Tikki Burger Recipe

Beet is considered as healthy ingredient n good substitute of potato for burger.

Ingredients :
Bun / Multigrain bun
Cabbage or lettuce leaves
Sliced Cucumber
Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
Butter – 1 tbsp
Ingredients for Tikki :
Grated Beetroot – 1 cup
Oil – 2 tbsp
All purpose flour – 1 tbsp
Corn Flour – 2 tbsp
Maida slurry- 1/2 cup

Garam Masala – ½ tsp
Chopped Onion – half
Curry leaves – 8-10
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Chat masala-1/2 tsp
Chopped coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
Ginger paste– 1 tsp
Salt – to taste
Lemon Juice – ½ tsp
Bread crumbs – 4 tbsp

Method :
1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, chopped onion, curry leaves, ginger paste, chopped coriander leaves, red chili powder, grated beetroot and saute for 2-3 minutes. Turn of the heat.Let it cool.
2. Add bread crumbs, corn flour, all seasoning and mix well.
3. cover it and keep it in refrigerator for 25 min.
